6.- Burros, La Lancha y El Anclote: This section of Punta de Mita is 15 to 20 minutes away from Riviera Nayarit, featuring several wave sizes making it a perfect destination for those looking for a more calm and relaxed experience.
5.- San Pancho: Here you sense the open sea outside the bay. As this area has strong waves, it is recommended that surfers be either at intermediate or advanced. Waves reach up to four meters high.

2.- Sayulita: Surfers of all levels are able to surf here, from beginner to professional. There are 3 types of waves and even a special section to learn, you may visit Sayulita taking a bus from Riviera Nayarit.
1.- Stoner Point Break: A unique surf for those advanced surfers. Famous for its strength, this place but can only be surfed on during the summer with swells coming from the south. It is located between El Borrego and Matanchen in San Blas.
