Nayarit, September 30, 2024 — The Tourism Board’s program, MÉXICO DESCONOCIDO, hosted the prestigious “Lo Mejor de Nayarit 2024” awards ceremony on September 27 at the Hotel Escuela of the Universidad Tecnológica de Bahía de Banderas (UTBB). The event, held at 6:30 PM, brought together prominent figures from the region’s tourism sector, honoring the best in various categories.
Among the night’s standout winners was Marival Resorts, which won several important awards, solidifying its leadership in luxury tourism, weddings, and meetings in Nayarit. The accolades received were:
1. Mozzamare: First place in the “Altar of Love” category as the Best Wedding Venue in Nayarit.
2. Marival Emotions Resort & Suites: First place in the “Forum of Excellence” category as the Best Venue for Meetings Tourism (MICE).
3. Marival Distinct Luxury Residences: Third place in the “Nayarit Luxury” category for the Best Luxury or Boutique Lodging Experience.
4. INSU Sky Bar: Third place in the “Tasty Panorama” category as the Restaurant with the Best View of Nayarit’s Landscapes.
In addition to these significant awards, Marival Group received special recognition for its outstanding contribution to promoting tourism and supporting the growth of the State of Nayarit.
Marival Resorts executives and directors, including Juan Armando Llamas, Director of Operational Administration; Daphne Fernández, General Manager of Marival Emotions Resort & Suites; Jorge Castro, General Manager of Marival Distinct Luxury Residences and Director of Food and Beverage for Marival Resorts; and José Alfredo Jiménez, the Group’s Corporate Chef, received the awards. Other group executives accompanied them during the ceremony.
